Recorded live on March 14th, 2022 as part of the cycle “Piano de Ayer y Piano de Hoy”.
I discern three independent and at the same time constitutive lines in the assembly of this second movement: melody, bass, and intermediate line. The treatment and timbre work aims to achieve the confluence of these melodic lines maintaining their independence, but at the same time forming a single sound entity. This is probably the biggest difference between interpretations, as well as the biggest obstacle to achieving oneness.
